Background Information:

BHP Billiton (GEMCO) is one of the world's largest manganese mining and concentrating operations, accounting for over 20% of the worlds' high-grade manganese ore production. Located on Groote Eylandt, approximately 630 kilometres south-east of Darwin in the Gulf of Carpentaria, GEMCO is a one hour flight from Darwin and a one hour 20 minute flight from Cairns. GEMCO's facilities include: an indoor gym, beachside workout area, swimming pool, golf course, tennis and squash courts, sports oval, scenic walking track and recreation club. All rooms in the camp have their own ensuited bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning. Camp guests are welcome to participate in a range of community and social activities.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual for the position of Supervisor Warehouse. Reporting to the Superintendent Warehouse and Inventory, the successful candidate will be required to lead a crew in conducting warehouse activities whilst ensuring specified standards are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:
·             Ensure your crew uphold the highest health, safety, environmental standards and Zero Harm practices;
·             Supervise warehouse and stock administration activities;
·             Monitoring goods/materials receiving, returns and quality inspection of goods;
·             Ensure accurate stock balances and appropriate storage of materials;
·             Identify and implement warehouse operations improvement activities;
·             Monitor warehouse costs to ensure alignment with budget.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
·             Experience in a similar warehouse supervisory position;
·             Effective communication, time management, and prioritisation abilities;
·             High Risk Forklift Licence;
·             Proven ability to ensure procedures are followed and KPIs are met;
·             SAP experience;
·             Cert 4 Trainer and Assessor.
