The Boral Construction Materials & Cement (CM&C) division employs over 4,500 employees & 2,000 contractors across our quarry, concrete, asphalt, concrete placing and cement operations. With around 430 operating sites throughout Australia, BCM&C has a regional focus to serve local markets.
Based in the Brisbane North team and reporting to the Production Manager – Concrete, we are looking for an experienced and committed Batcher in Charge, whose primary focus will be on the operation of the Command system involving the batching and despatching of concrete in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Your key responsibilities to help Build Something Great will include:

·             Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs utilising the Command Batch program and the docket despatch system
·             Undertake all essential day-to-day administration of the Mobile Batch Plant including stock control of raw materials along with complying with Boral's Cash on Delivery policy and banking requirements
·             Meet all customer requirements by placing accurate telephone orders, batching of the correct concrete mix and allocating trucks to ensure the smooth operation for Boral and our customers and,
·             General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance, along with the safe operation of a front end loader
Your raw material will include:

·             A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
·             A current HR drivers licence and a front end loader ticket will be highly regarded
·             Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with sound computer literacy
·             A proven ability to work within a team environment and,
·             Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however full training will be provided
