Background Information:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic
Eurasia team working on the South Caucasus. As a senior member of the Caucasus
team, you will be project managing a portfolio of
interdependent
conflict-specific and regional initiatives, and further developing Alert’s
strategy, reaching out to new target groups, developing innovative approaches and
exploring ways to improve the effectiveness of interventions.
Fluent in Russian and English, you will have a talent for constructive
dialogue, for listening actively and also challenging ideas as they emerge in
group contexts. You will have strong analytical skills and instinctively be
able to frame complex issues in simple ways that can be understood and worked
on by different parties, based on an empathetic understanding of how they are
perceived; and engaging others in constructive dialogue around them.
With five years’ experience of project management in conflict contexts,
including dialogue processes you will be educated with a higher degree in a
relevant subject and have extensive experience of project implementation in
conflict contexts, including dialogue processes and experience in managing
projects and grants, including monitoring, evaluation and reporting in both
narrative and financial formats. Experience managing research processes is
highly desirable.
