Background Information:
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team based in
Adelaide. Reporting to the Manager Business Partnership, you will be responsible
for partnering with key stakeholders to provide financial data and analysis to
facilitate well-informed decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the provision of
timely financial data and analytical support to line management
·
Overseeing the provision of
operating, unit cost and capital expenditure variance analysis for the
Operations and Functions
·
Facilitating the identification
and financial analysis of cost drivers for the Operations and Functions
·
Partner with the business to
identify and deliver cost savings and productivity initiatives to ensure the
business is achieving its overall cost and cash flow objectives
·
Supporting line management in the
preparation of budgets and forecast (both operating and capital expenditure)
You will be passionate about operating within the BHP Billiton Business

Skills & Experience
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will be a self-starter
who is capable of working well without direct supervision and be able to
demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. You will hold a tertiary
qualification in an Accounting or related discipline.
Your technical strengths will be complemented by strong leadership skills
and experience. You will also have exceptional interpersonal skills, a
collaborative style, and the ability to communicate effectively across all
levels of the organisation.
Location
Located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia, Olympic Dam is
Australia's largest underground mine, incorporating a complex minerals
processing operation, producing copper cathode, uranium oxide concentrate, gold
and silver.
This role is based in Adelaide, a multicultural community that offers a
good standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital
cities. The Mediterranean climate, beach-side lifestyle, cosmopolitan cafés and
restaurants, plus the Barossa Valley wineries just an hour away, makes Adelaide
