Position
Reporting to the Resourcing & Development Superintendent, you will provide coaching and support to the business regarding talent management and leadership development, and conduct developmental needs analyses to multiple stakeholders.

As the Talent and Leadership Specialist, you will:
  •     Manage the talent process according to the prescribed timeline and work with leaders to establish succession plans for critical roles;
  •     Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders on employee development planning;
  •     Maintain primary accountability for the completion of internal workforce diversity reporting and ongoing diversity demographic analysis;
  •     Establish talent networks both inside BHP Billiton, and externally;
  •     Work closely with the Resourcing team and management on strategic sourcing strategies;
  •     Design, develop and implement leadership and management frameworks and content for team-based, leader-led delivery;
  •     Audit the effectiveness of OD programs and frameworks;
  •     Consider Worsley's commitment to diversity and inclusion in everything you do.

Skills and Experience
In order to be successful in this role you must hold a relevant tertiary qualification. It is essential you possess advanced facilitation and instructional design skills, and ideally you will have experience in the design and delivery of leadership development programs. The successful candidate will also have project management and change management experience, and be a competent user of MS Office package.

As part of the recruitment process for this position you may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and participate in a background screen including a criminal history check, identity check and qualifications check. Knowledge of the BHP Billiton Leadership Development Program (LDP) would be an advantage.
