Summer Student Community Engagement
Saskatoon, SK, Canada (Reference #255671)
An outstanding opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and talented
Post-Secondary student to become part of our growing Potash business in our
Saskatoon location. Under the direction of the Senior Advisor Aboriginal
Engagement, the Summer Student Community Engagement is responsible for the
provision of safe, effective and efficient professional administrative support
services, project assistance and data entry, in compliance with BHP Billiton
global standards, systems, practices and procedures.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrate an overriding
commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibility.

Provide coordination, scheduling
and administrative assistance
·
Review and recommend new, or
changes to exisiting, administrative procedures and office services
·
Produce documents, presentations
and reports as required to support team needs
·
Interface with key systems,
inputting data and producing reports
·
Respond to additional projects
and requirements as needed
·
Take minutes as required at
external and internal meetings
·
Support Community Engagement team in event participation by
developing event plans, and coordinating logistics and sponsorship requirements
around the events.
·
Build community profiles for
Jansen project First Nations
·
Assist in formatting community
engagement documents into the new HSEC management system format.
·
Complying with records management
systems and procedures.
·
Other duties as required.
Key requirements:
Applicants must currently be
enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution and returning to full time
studies in the fall.
