Position Title: Senior Sous Chef, Jobs across the globe,

Reporting to: Executive Chef

Location: Khartoum- Sudan

Salary: Ksh 200,000- 260,000 Gross

Our client is an investment company with a hotel based in Khartoum Sudan looking to hire a Senior Sous Chef. The main role of the Senior Sous Chef is to manage the production of food according to standard recipes and hygiene standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

·             To manage the production of food items according to the recipes

·             To manage and maintain the standards in terms of quality and proficiency

·             Manage and maintain high levels of personal hygiene.

·             Manage and maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the workplace.

·             Place orders with food suppliers

·             Receive and check food deliveries from suppliers

·             Perform stock counts and maintain rotation policies

·             Control and issue internal requisitions

·             Perform on the job training and improve the skills of subordinates

·             To perform training sessions and improve the knowledge of subordinates

·             Provide continuous improvement and generate new ideas for the job’s; role, activities, tools, products, process, systems, policies, plans…etc

·             Continuously improve job relevant customer services at all times

·             Explore creative approaches, practical solutions to solve problems and seek diverse solution to work issues

Qualifications

·             Degree or Diploma qualifications in Hospitality, Food and Beverage

·             5 to 7 year experience in the hotel industry

·             Excellent spoken and written English

·             Good Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage

·             Excellent computer skills

·             Entry level job skills
