The Position
Reporting to the Manager Engineering, you will be responsible for managing the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities and interfaces required to safely deliver a functional asset for an operational area.  Your duties will include:
- Deliver the assigned projects for an operational area in accordance with the WAPL projects portfolio.
- Oversee service providers, contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure safe execution of assigned projects.
- Ensure all service providers meet WAPL safety and site requirements.
- Manage the project cost and progress according to the approved budget and schedule and rectify variances.
- Monitor resourcing levels to verify and ensure they are sufficient to deliver the project outcomes.
- Ensure a safe, efficient and cost-effective system of work is in place for all selection, definition and execution activities. This will include but is not limited to methods, people and equipment.
This position is Monday to Friday, with an 80 hour fortnight, with the option to work a 9 day fortnight.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
In order to be successful in this role you will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, ability to work both in a team and autonomously with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines/targets. As part of this position you will be required to hold either a Mechanical engineering degree or a Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification with strong supervision and execution experience.
