Boral Quarries is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help grow the quarry products market in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Quarries, you will be responsible for quarry product sales from a number of Boral quarry sites.

 You are approachable, a good listener and you aim to provide sound, well-rounded and all-encompassing solutions to customers, adding value and strengthening relationships and trust.
You are a big picture thinker and you work collaboratively with customers, your peers and our Customer Service Teams to deliver value to our customers and to Boral.
  You demonstrate leadership, value respect, and you display both of these attributes in all of your interactions.
You are market savvy and a proactive self-starter and you lead from the front. You focus on generating sales through new business development and by managing and growing existing accounts. You have your ear to the ground when it comes to gathering market intelligence around tenders and competitor activity, and you follow up on leads diligently to convert into new and continuing business.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong proven sales experience in the building and construction industry with well-established networks throughout Melbourne. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded however key technical knowledge of aggregates or related products is preferred.
Your communication, presentation and negotiation skills are second to none and you are comfortable and competent in a range of computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office), as well as experience using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Prospector, etc.).
