Reporting to the Senior Engineer Plant Modifications, we are currently
seeking an experienced Control and Instrumentation Engineer to maintain and
improve the Process Control Network at GEMCO. The role covers instrumentation,
PLC's SCADA, HMI, MES and Historian.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Integration of the Process
Control Systems that enable continuous and efficient operations of processes of
GEMCO's processing and dispatching facilities;
·
Developing and maintaining
policies and procedures on the implementation and management of process
technologies;
·
Preparing Technical
Specifications for Instrumentation equipment (Standardisation of Hardware,
Software, etc.);
·
Designing instrumentation panels
and components and developing instrumentation calibration services;
·
Providing technical input in
solving processing problems and fault find and repair a variety of equipment
e.g.: flow, level, pressure and temperature equipment, PLC's and pneumatic
transfer systems.
To be successful in this role you
will ideally have:
·
Demonstrated experience in the understanding
of communication on electrical interconnected power systems, electrical network
layout and configuration and operating regulations for high voltage systems;
·
Experience in understanding the
Principles of Process Control Loops / systems, advanced Programmable Logic
Controllers, and process communication systems;
·
Degree - Bachelor of
Instrumentation Engineering.
