Description:

JSI is hiring a Senior Operations Analyst for its Arlington, VA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

·             Analyze business processes to determine the most efficient methods of managing in-country public health programs focused on health systems strengthening, supply chain, primary health care, Family Planning/Reproductive Health (FP/RH), and HIV/AIDS in Indonesia and India.

·             Lead in-country, cross-functional teams to study work procedures, information flows, production methods, inventory controls, and cost analysis using best practice methodologies including Pipeline, Supply Chain Manager and Quantimed. Document findings and recommend new procedures, systems, and organizational changes to improve the operations of in-country public health programs.

·             Develop and review workplans, strategies and key approaches to ensure that they are consistent with project priorities. Provide on-going quality assurance for in-country technical activities through development, identification and recommendation for use of appropriate tools, methodologies and approaches to all technical work.

·             Review and certify quality of deliverables for acceptance and approval.

·             Overseas travel 30%.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires the following qualifications:

·             Master’s degree in Operations Research, Public Health, Medicine or related field and five years of field experience implementing public health programs in Eurasia including procuring public health supplies and services.

·             Experience building and leading multi-national teams comprised of national and international public health experts. Experience advising Ministries of Health and technical agencies on operational policies and procedures, budgets, and health information systems.

·             Knowledge of Pipeline, Supply Chain Manager and Quantimed.

Salary commensurate with experience.
