Position Synopsis
We are currently seeking a strong leader to join our Finance Leadership
team, as the Manager Business Partnership Finance. Reporting to the Head of
Finance you will partner with the business to ensure all financial information
is presented on a timely basis to facilitate well informed decision making
across the Asset.
Your key accountabilities will include:

Working with operations and
functions to identify and implement cost and productivity improvements to
improve financial outcomes
·
Endorsing financial analysis
performed in the assessment of improvement projects, cost savings initiatives
and cost drivers and sharing insights with local leadership teams
·
Confirming appropriate processes
are in place to ensure the right level of focus on costs and clear
accountabilities for cost management
·
Responsibility for driving period
end close process to achieve the required performance levels
·
Preparing actual, budget and
forecast cost and capital analysis for reporting into the Business
·
Approving the Budget, Five Year
Plan (5YP) and Forecast outcomes in line with submission requirements
·
Reviewing compliance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and GLD.004.01 Accounting
Interpretations
·
Endorsing information required to
facilitate Business level submissions including information required for
briefing paper submissions and short term incentives
You will be passionate about operating within the BHP Billiton Business

Please note this is an Adelaide based position, however travel will be
required to meet relevant business needs.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this opportunity you will have significant experience
leading and influencing high performing teams. You will have an intimate
knowledge of the mining industry, accounting standards and practices and highly
developed stakeholder engagement skills.
Your technical strengths will be complemented by exceptional interpersonal
skills, a collaborative style, and the ability to communicate effectively
across all levels of the organisation.
You will hold a Degree in Accounting or Commerce and hold a CA/CPA
qualification.
Location
Located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia, Olympic Dam is
Australia's largest underground mine, incorporating a complex minerals
processing operation, producing copper cathode, uranium oxide concentrate, gold
and silver.
This role is based in Adelaide, a multicultural community that offers a
good standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital
cities. The Mediterranean climate, beach-side lifestyle, cosmopolitan cafés and
restaurants, plus the Barossa Valley wineries just an hour away, makes Adelaide
